Abia Govt Arrests 86 Sanitation Defaulters in Umuahia & Aba
The Abia State Government has arrested 86 persons for violating sanitation laws in Umuahia and Aba.
The defaulters were picked up during the state’s monthly sanitation exercise for dumping refuse indiscriminately and flouting clean-up directives.
The government has issued a strong warning to residents to desist from dumping waste inside drainages and waterways, stating that the act blocks the free flow of water and is a major cause of flooding in the state.
Keep your environment clean. Bag your refuse and dispose properly.
