Social media activist Verydarkman (VDM) has stated that he thinks Nigerians are capable of opposing the government

“The average Nigerian is just as b@d as their leaders” — Verydarkman

Social media activist Verydarkman (VDM) has stated that he thinks Nigerians are capable of opposing the government, but that attempts to do so are frequently thwarted by the behaviour of regular people.

Regarding the prospect of organising against the government, VDM stated that he was capable of confronting those in authority but had doubts about Nigerians’ readiness to unite.

“Yes, I have the movement to challenge the government 100%. The problem is the average Nigerian is just as bad as their leaders, and they will betr@y you either for money, tribalism or religion.”

Citing purported instances of vendors failing to deliver items after receiving payment, VDM also denounced what he called dishonest activities among some Nigerians.

“Nigerians, a lot of them are w!ck£d. Only vendor you go buy something, vendor no go deliver.”

He added that his office has dealt with many cases involving scams and revealed that ₦70 million had just been recovered in one of those cases.

“Do you know how many sc@m cases I have in my office? Just few days ago, N70M was recovered. I no even come online come talk….”

His remarks focused on what he called Nigerians’ lack of trust and sense of shared responsibility, which he feels makes it tough to maintain initiatives meant to ov£rthrow the government.
