Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublack, made this bold declaration during an appearance on the In Motion Podcast.
The rapper explained that his stance is deeply rooted in his Christian faith. He referenced the biblical instruction for men to love their wives just as Christ loved the Church and died for it, arguing that being willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for one’s partner is a reflection of true love.
“The same way Christ died for my sins, I, Odumodublvck, will die for my woman.” He considers this level of devotion to be the standard for any real man.
His comments come on the heels of a public social media dispute with fellow artist Blaqbonez regarding a past relationship involving Odumodublvck’s current girlfriend. Rather than stepping away, Odumodublvck used the moment to publicly double down on his loyalty and protection of his partner.
