Social media commentator VeryDarkMan (VDM) has publicly called out Afrobeats superstar Davido, urging the musician to refrain from engaging in Nigerian political discussions.
In a recently released video, VDM accused the singer of using his massive fanbase and political influence to further personal and family interests rather than the public good. He threatened to expose further details about the artist if he continues to weigh in on national political matters.
Furthermore, VDM extended his criticism to the current administration in Osun State, governed by Davido’s uncle, Ademola Adeleke. He argued that despite the singer’s international reach and influence, little effort has been made to attract foreign investments or spur infrastructure and job growth in the state.
