Popular On-Air Personality, Do2dtun has shared his thoughts on the ongoing burial drama surrounding late gospel artist, Toluwanisings.
Reacting to the controversy, the media personality faulted the idea of burying the deceased in a residential compound, describing it as an old-fashioned and uncivilised practice.
According to him, having a grave inside a family house can be emotionally disturbing and leaves a lasting psychological effect on those living there. He questioned why such traditions are still being upheld in modern times.
Do2dtun further stated that the focus should be on honouring the late singer’s impact and legacy, instead of letting family conflict take center stage.
He stressed that the late singer’s wife and children should have the final say when it comes to his burial plans. While noting that extended family members are entitled to their opinions, he insisted that the wishes of the deceased and the immediate family should come first, not tradition or internal disputes.
