Influencer King CND has weighed in on the rumoured peace between Burna Boy and Davido, and he is not impressed.
In a video making rounds online, King CND said Burna Boy should not have reconciled with Davido without carrying VeryDarkMan along. According to him, VeryDarkMan had repeatedly taken sides against Davido out of loyalty to Burna Boy, so seeing the two singers settle their differences feels like a betrayal to the activist.
King CND went further to call out Burna Boy over his silence on a school project that VeryDarkMan reportedly built in his name. He argued that even if Burna Boy did not want to get involved in the online drama, the least he could do was publicly appreciate VeryDarkMan for the gesture.
His take has triggered another round of debate on social media, with many questioning where loyalty should start and end when it comes to celebrity friendships, and whether Burna Boy owes VeryDarkMan a public shout-out for standing by him.
For now, neither Burna Boy nor Davido has officially reacted to King CND’s comments.
