The paternal grandmother of late gospel singer Toluwanisings has broken her silence following his death.
In a recent interview with Dumininu, the elderly woman spoke about her relationship with the singer before he passed away, describing it as distant.
According to her, Toluwanisings barely checked on her or visited while he was alive. She claimed that throughout his lifetime, he only sent her money on about three different occasions, with each support being around N10,000, and that only happened after she confronted him about not visiting.
She noted that despite how things were between them, his death came as a painful shock to her.
The grandmother also waded into the ongoing burial controversy. She stated clearly that she is against the plan to bury the late singer next to his mother. In her opinion, he should be laid to rest in the house he personally built.
